Services Offered:

One-on-One Family Consultation and Choice Assessment
This entails a home visit of up to 3 hours with at least one adult present for interviewing. The fee is comprised of a Consultation fee of $300 Cdn. including a follow-up report of what changes would best support the autistic individual(s), and a mileage fee of $0.35 per kilometer.

One-on-One Business Consultation and Choice Assessment
This entails a visit to your work site of up to 5 hours, with the building manager, the business manager, or another decision-maker for site planning available for interviewing. The fee is comprised of a consultation fee of $500 Cdn. including a follow-up report of what changes would best support immune-compromised workers, and a mileage fee of $0.35 per kilometer.

One-on-One Support Time with Children, Teens,
and Adults in the Spectrum
Because it is often difficult for the neurotypical population to understand and therefore tolerate autistic behaviours, unconditional acceptance and support are rare. This is something which autiistic spectrum individuals who have emerged from the fog can offer without reservation, and it can be extremely valuable to spend time with someone who understands what it's like. This entails a visit in your home or mine, at a flat rate of $70 per hour, plus a $0.35 per kilometer mileage fee if I travel.

Therapeutic Work
This work uses communication, physical, spiritual/energetic, and emotional therapeutic techniques, which are effective in building the mind-body connection, and augmenting the capacity of both mind and body to respond appropriately to stimuli. Referrals to other practitioners and helpful complementary therapies are also available. The fee for therapeutic work is $70 Cdn. per hour, plus a $0.35 mileage fee for home visits.

Weekly, Bimonthly, or Monthly Check-Ins
Sometimes when a family has decided to make changes, there are glitches and stuck points along the way. Having a regular phone date scheduled with someone who has guided and supported other families through such transitions can smooth the path considerably, by making suggestions for easing the changes, and helping you evaluate the effectiveness of what has already been achieved. The fee for check-ins is $1.15 Cdn. per minute, billed following the call.

Menu Support
Changing from the standard North American diet to an organic, whole food, rotation diet, with dairy, gluten, and any other allergies or sensitivities avoided, is no trivial challenge. If people have the time for the research, trial, error, and learning entailed, they may choose not to use this service. However, having done the research and slow transition myself, I've discovered that I can significantly speed others' process by giving group cooking lessons, or in-home cooking lessons. Group cooking lessons are a series of 6 to 8 two-hour classes for 4 to 8 adults, and are charged a lower total fee than individual cooking lessons. I find that a team approach helps the participants retain and use what they've gained, and I wish to both support this team-building, and make this information more accessible to everyone.

Fees: I will continue to cap the number of reduced-fee clients at 10% of my total clientele. For those without financial resources, my website has enough of the basics for you to move in healthy directions, and most of the relevant research is becoming increasingly available, if you have the time to seek it. There is nothing stopping people from helping themselves. If you desire a faster process of finding research, references, and short-cuts in your process of either coming out of the autistic fog, or helping someone else to do so, yet you cannot afford my fees, please negotiate and I will put you on the reduced-fee waiting list.

N.B. Because I myself am in the autistic spectrum, there are days when it’s better that I’m not out in the world, and times when I need to limit my contact with people. This is a necessary – and responsible – way of managing the challenges. While I can usually pace myself such that I can meet all my commitments, there may be times when I need to call and reschedule consultations, check-ins, therapeutic work, and workshops. All talks will be given as arranged.
