Workshops
Offered:
Buildings for Autism Talk
This one-hour introductory talk is for architects, builders, and
building and business managers who are interested in creating indoor
environments which best support individuals with autistic spectrum
conditions and other immune challenges. A second hour is reserved for
questions, and a cheat-sheet will be provided. The increasing impairment
of right-brained individuals is costing us all in lost creativity, from
those who tend to be the most highly creative members of society. This
talk will give you the information to make the necessary changes in your
area of expertise. The fee is an agreed-upon honorarium, plus a mileage
fee of $0.35 per kilometer.
Reversing Autistic Spectrum Conditions Talk
This one-hour introductory talk is for parents, community members,
educators, and health practitioners who are interested in ameliorating or
eliminating autistic spectrum symptoms. A second hour is reserved for
questions, and a cheat-sheet will be provided. Drawing on current research
and the experience of adults in the autistic spectrum who have emerged
from the fog, this talk will give you starting points for making the
changes which will help all autistics reach their genetic potential. The
fee is an agreed-upon honorarium, plus a mileage fee of $0.35 per
kilometer.
Reducing Autistic Symptoms Series
This is a series of monthly, one-hour talks for a closed group of up
to 15 people, which highlights the cumulative impacts of various factors
in causing autistic symptoms. Each evening will address a different topic,
including: Introduction to Autistic Symptom Reduction, Making Changes, The
Role of Food, The Role of Water, The Role of Air, The Role of Community,
and Getting Good Help. There is a second hour available for questions and
discussion. This series is only given for small groups. A team approach
helps the participants retain and use what they've gained, and support
each other in making changes. I wish to support this team-building, and to
keep groups small enough for individual attention and effective
communication. The fee is an agreed-upon honorarium, plus a mileage fee of
$0.35 per kilometer.

| N.B. Because I
myself am in the autistic spectrum, there are days when it’s
better that I’m not out in the world, and times when I need to
limit my contact with people. This is a necessary – and
responsible – way of managing the challenges. While I can
usually pace myself such that I can meet all my commitments, there
may be times when I need to call and reschedule consultations,
check-ins, therapeutic work, and workshops. All talks will be
given as arranged. |
